PURPOSE:To point out an abnormal area on a scan path by supplying the code information on the boundaries to the scan path from these boundaries divided for each hardware. CONSTITUTION:A diagnosis processor 1 produces the control commands to designate the desired actions for the fault diagnosis of a data processor 2 as well as the data to be set to scan paths 22-24 and sends them to the processor 2 via an interface 3. While the processor 1 receives the data outputted from those scan paths from the processor 2 via an interface 3. These produced control commands are set to a control command register 11 and the produced data are set to a data transmitting FF 12 at every bit and outputted to the interface 3. The data received from the processor 2 are set to a data receiving FF 13 at every bit and used within the processor 1. A counting means 14 detects the code information contained in the output data received from those paths 22-24 and counts the detecting frequency. |
