PURPOSE:To make bleaching in a short period and to obtain a stable image density in a bleaching process by specifying the sum total of the dry film thickness of a total hydrophilic colloid layer on the side having a photosensitive layer to <=18mum. CONSTITUTION:Not only the image density by the fluctuation of bleaching conditions is stabilized but also the bleaching effect is synergistically accelerated when the multi-layered color photographic sensitive material having <=18mum sum total of the dry film thickness of the total hydrophilic colloid layer is subjected to the bleaching process in the presence of a bleaching accelerator. The sum total of the dry film thickness is <=18mum, more preferably 10-18mum, more particularly preferably 13-17mum. The method for forming a thin layer includes a method for decreasing the weight of the hydrophilic colloid which is a binder, method for using a coupler having high color formability, method for decreasing the weight of a high boiling point solvent, etc. The bleaching is thus quickly executed without environmental pollution and defective desilvering and the stable image density is obtd. in the bleaching process. |
