摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent air from flowing in a measurement chamber when a body to be measured is replaced and to discharge the air speedily when the body to be measured is attached or detached by providing an air vent valve at the uppermost end of the 1st liquid passage and a by-pass passage which extends downward from the 1st liquid passage to the measurement chamber. CONSTITUTION:Air vent valves 8 and 11 are opened firstly so as to charge liquid in the measurement chamber 1, etc., and the liquid is supplied from a liquid supply valve 6. The liquid is made to overflow from the valve 8 and when air bubbles in the measurement chamber 1 are removed, the valve 8 is closed and the liquid is supplied continuously with the air vent valve 11 open to overflow from the valve 11. An opening 13B, on the other hand, is positioned below a passage 10, so a forcible upward flow of liquid is formed in the passage 10 and air bubbles which flow in the passage 10 when the body 4 to be measured in attached or detached are carried upward by not only its buoyance, but also the flow of the liquid, so the air can be discharged speedily. Further, the by-pass passage 12 extends slantingly downward, so no air bubble enters the flow passage 12 and, therefore, never enters the measurement chamber 1.
