PURPOSE:To prevent the lubricating oil, which flows out of a bearing, from reaching the mechanical-brake-abutting part so as to enable the captioned device to be used while the turning shaft is held horizontal by providing a recessed groove at the circular peripheral face of a cylindrical recess located in the vicinity of the rotary center of a flywheel. CONSTITUTION:A pair of oil-pregnated bearings 2a and 2b are inserted into a housing 3 in order to support a turning shaft 1. A flywheel 5 rotates as one body together with the turning shaft 1. The flywheel 5 is provided with a cylindrical, recessed part in the vicinity of its center of revolution. In addition, a recessed groove 4 is formed on the peripheral surface of the said cylindrical, recessed part. Meanwhile, one end of a mechanical brake 6 is attached to a chassis 8, while the other end is abutted on the end surface with the said recessed part of the flywheel 5. Accordingly, the lubricating oil oozed out from the oil-impregnated bearings 2a and 2b stays in the recessed groove 4, thereby preventing the lubricating oil from flowing onto the abutting surface of the mechanical brake. |
