PURPOSE:To enhance the productivity of a filter itself, to enlarge a filtering area and to develop effective filtering function, by receiving a shape holding body having elasticity in the baggy reticulated body mounted to a mount body, which mounts said reticulated body to the leading end part of a suction pipe, in a suspended state so that the opening part thereof is closely clamped to said mount body. CONSTITUTION:The opening part of a baggy reticulated body 3 is closely clamped to a mount body 1, which mounts said reticulated body 3 to a suction pipe, so as to suspend the reticulated body 3, while a shrinkable shape holding body 8 having elasticity constituted of for example, two arms 8a having elasticity spirally extended so as to externally surround a protective cylinder 7 from the under surface of a clamp part 1b and of a ring body 8b clamped to the leading ends of said arms and provided parallel in opposed relation to the clamp part 1b so as to leave an interval from said part 1b is received in the reticulated body 3 in order to hold the bag-like shape thereof. As a result, the productivity of a filter is enhanced and a filtering area is enlarged and effective filtering function can be developed.
