发明名称 CASTING ALUMINUM ALLOY HAVING HIGH TOUGHNESS
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled alloy having a tensile strength of middle extent only by applying soln. heat treatment after casting, by adding elements such as Zn, Sr, Ce, Cd to Al-Si-Mg alloy. CONSTITUTION:The alloy is composed of, by weight 5-9% Si, 0.2-0.6% Mg, 0.1-0.2% Ti, 0.05-0.3% Zn, 0.005-0.04% Sr, 0.05-0.2% Ce, 0.1-0.3% Cd and the balance Al. Or 0.05-0.4% Sb, 0.02-0.1% Ca are added instead of Sr and Ce described above to the alloy. In these alloys, strength can be im proved without deteriorating toughness only by air cooling after holding at soln. heating temp. for several hours after casting. Consequently, the aimed alloy utilizable to wheel material, etc., for automobile without requiring artificial aging treatment as in conventional alloy.
