PURPOSE:To improve the welding quality and to reduce the cost of equipment by providing a welding truck driving chain of an endless shape, and also, connecting, etc. a welding truck on a rail and its chain so that they can be disconnected and made to connect freely by a truck and chain connecting clamp. CONSTITUTION:A welding truck 2 provided with a truck and chain connecting clamp 16, and a welding truck 17 which has a driving device separately and can run at a high speed are provided on a running rail, respectively, and also, a moving distance of the trucks 2, 17 is set by a stopper 15. First of all, the truck 2 is connected to an endless chain 4 by the clamp 16 and run at an extremely low speed by operating a speed change handle 13, and underlaying welding 20 is executed. Subsequently, the clamp 16 is detached, the truck 17 is run at a high speed by the driving device and overlaying welding 21 is executed. Since build-up welding of an extremely low speed and a high speed can be executed by the same device, the welding quality is improved and also the cost of equipment can be reduced. |
