This suitcase carrier comprises a back 1 on which is articulated a handling member 10 which consists, like the back, of an inverted U-tube and can be folded down over the back when the suitcase carrier is folded. The back 1 is mounted at its lower part on a transverse bar 4 equipped with castors 6 which passes through the ends of its lateral uprights 2, 3. A support foot 18, formed by a curved tube which passes around the lateral uprights of the back before being traversed by the bar 4, is also articulated on the lower bar 4. The support foot 18 comprises, in each of its corners, a locking notch 32 so that the uprights of the back are immobilised in the rear notches in the use position and in the front notches when the suitcase carrier is folded. Between these two positions, pivoting of the foot gives rise to an elastic deformation of at least one of the two members. <IMAGE>
