摘要 PURPOSE:To completely and readily select one of optical isomers and improve the purity, by brining an optical isomeric mixture of epoxides having >=2 asymmetric carbon atoms in the molecule into contact with a specific compound and converting only the one isomer into a complex in separating the specific optical isomer from the above-mentioned isomeric mixture. CONSTITUTION:An optical isomeric mixture of epoxides having >=2 asymmetric carbon atoms in the molecule is brought into contact with an optically active 1,1,6,6-tetraphenylhexa-2,4-diyne-1,6-diol expressed by the formula (X and Y are H, halogen, alkyl, aryl, etc.; X and Y are not the same atom or group when X and Y are liked to the same positions to carbon atoms of each phenyl group in which X and Y are linked to the same carbon atoms of hexadiyne) normally within the range of room temperature - refluxing temperature of a solvent to form a complex incorporating a specific optical isomer and the complex is separated. The complex is formed as a compound containing the epoxides to be used and the compound expressed by formula I at 3:1-1:3 molar ratio.
