The usual beverage cans (soft drinks, beer, ...) are often soiled on the triangular tear-off closure and can lead to injuries due to sharp-edged sheet-metal parts. The all-purpose attachment spout, made of hygienic material, removes these disadvantages described. The attachment and sealing on the can take place in a manner similar to a threaded rotary closure, as a result of which the lower piece of the all-purpose attachment spout, similar to the tear-off opening, is pressed against the lower surface of the can lid. This results in sealing between a visible upper part of the all-purpose attachment spout and the top surface of the can lid. In order to allow glug-free drinking out of the all-purpose attachment spout, the upper can-covering surface of the all-purpose attachment spout has a through-bore precisely at that point which, at the instant of completion of the turning and pressing operation, comes into congruence with the tip of the tear-off closure of the can. During drinking, this point is always located above the level of liquid so that air can flow in at this point without obstruction. When using the all-purpose pouring spout for viscous substances, such as honey, granulates or the like, merely the size of the perforated surfaces and, in proportion therewith, the size and cross-section of the all-purpose attachment spout have to be changed.
