PURPOSE:To utilize an existing control panel or an operational panel as it is and perform an automatic operation of a line with a robot by operating the robot via the image processing of a television camera provided on the robot. CONSTITUTION:A television camera 6 is fitted to a robot 4 mounted on an unmanned vehicle 5 for monitoring the operation panel 3 of an automatic machine. Plural operation push buttons 7, condition display lamps 8 and switches 9 are provided on this operation panel 3, and a pair of reference marks 10 are formed near both upper ends. Positions of lighted lamps within the condition display lamps 8 are calculated by an image processing unit 11, and interlock with the automatic machine is maintained by output signals corresponding to these lighted lamp positions to operate the robot 4. According to this constitution, an existing control panel or an operation panel can be utilized as it is.
