DESTROYING MATERIAL USING SLAG OF STEEL MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE:The titled destroying material for stones and rocks, capable of effec tively reusing slag and of controlling expansion by the amount of quick lime added, obtained by blending slag of steel manufacture which contains liberated quick lime and has specific particle diameters with quick lime having the same particle diameters in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) Slag of steel manufacture (e.g., dephosphorized slag or decarbonized slag after pretreatment of hot metal, etc.,) which contains prefer ably >=3% liberated quick lime and ground into <=1mm particle diameter is blended with (B) 2-80wt% (preferably 10-50wt%) quick lime having the same particle size as that of the component A to give the aimed destroying material. No specific processing is required and manual work and cost can be reduced.
