PURPOSE:To obtain quantitative emission data, by a method wherein a radiation spectrum is measured with respect to an actual object and the ratio of the photoelectric effect region and Comption scattering region in said spectrum is calculated and correction coefficient preliminarily calculated on the basis of said ratio is read. CONSTITUTION:An absorbing body 4 is placed in front of a scintillation camera 5 and radiation sources 1-3 are placed to said absorbing body 4 at thickness different parts and the signal generated from the camera 5 is sent to a data processing unit 7 through an interface 6 and a gamma-ray spectrum is measured with respect to each of the ratiation source 1-3. the ratio of the photoelectric effect region and Comption scattering region in said spectrum is calculated and, by performing correction by reading correction coefficient preliminarily calculated on the basis of said ratio, correction can be performed even in the case of an object being non-uniform matter having an internal cavity and quanti tative emission data can be obtained.
