PURPOSE:To obtain a conveying device having a simple structure, by forming several compression gas jetting holes in a conveying path plate in the vertical direction, and by forming a part of the conveying path plate as a tiltable and movable conveying path. CONSTITUTION:A stationary conveying path plate 11 is laid in a horizontal direction, and are formed therein with several compression gas jetting holes 12 in the vertical direction. Meanwhile a movable conveying path plate 17 is laid in the horizontal direction adjacent to the conveying path plate 11, and are formed therein with several compressed air jetting holes 18 in the vertical direction. An article 1 shifted onto the movable conveying path plate 17 at the starting point thereon, is floated up by the blow-off of compressed gas. At this time the movable conveying path plate 17 is tilted in the conveying direction about a support shaft 23 as a rotating center. Then, the article 1 which has been floated up is subjected to thrust force in the conveying direction and therefore is moved. This article 1 on movement continues to move at a constant speed by its inertia while it is floated up. Thus, it is possible to obtain a simple structure conveying device with no selector valve being required.
