A working-cylinder arrangement (40) designed for a large stroke has a plurality of piston/cylinder units (48, 50) which are arranged axially one behind the other and whose output movements are cumulative. On account of the small axial length of the different piston rods (58, 60), a high buckling strength of the working-cylinder arrangement can thus be achieved at a large stroke and small piston-rod cross-section. <IMAGE>
