<p>PURPOSE:To enable the connecting or disconnecting work of waggons to be automatized in a freight yard or the like, by composing a train with a power generating car and self-propelled waggons. CONSTITUTION:A train is composed with a power generating car 1 and a plurality of self-propelled waggons 2. By the motor control power device 5 of the power generating car 1, a control power source is fed to three-phase induction motors 11 arranged on the respective self-propelled waggons 2 via a three-phase AC power bus 7, and a battery charging equipment 6 is charged with batteries 9 arranged on the respective self-propelled waggons 2 via a bus 8. When command for separating the self-propelled waggons from a central device in a freight yard or the like is generated, then the self-propelled waggons are automatically separated from the composed train, and the output of the batteries 9 is fed to the three-phase induction motors 11 via a power converter 10, and the waggons are independently run.</p> |
