PURPOSE:To enable the enhancement of measuring accuracy by preventing the fluctuation of a flame or the mixing of contamination gas such as solvent gas with combustion secondary air, by providing an enclosing wall around a specimen atomizing part and providing an air take-in port to the rear surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:The atomizing furnace 1a of a specimen atomizing part is one kind of a burner for atomizing a specimen to thermally dissociate the same in a flame 1b and the specimen is thermally dissociated in the frame 1b to be atomized. A base stand 1f is one for arranging the atomizing furnace 1a. When luminous flux 1c passes the specimen atomizing part, if the flame 1b fluctuates, the absorbancy of the specimen varies to generate measuring noise and sensitivity is fallen. In order to prevent this phenomenon, an enclosing wall is provided around the specimen atomizing part to prevent the inflow of turbulent air from the circumference. The front surface wall 1d of said wall has a hole 1m for permitting the insert of a tube 1g sucking a specimen solution 1k from a specimen container 1h. Because the fluctuation of air is generated by the movement of a person, an opening part (e) is provided to the rear wall surface 1e hardly receiving the effect of said fluctuation as an air intake port.
