The invention relates to an apparatus for catching early and isolating water damage due to condensation formation and leakages on a flat roof. The invention proposes to fix in a stationary manner on the flat roof, distributed over the surface thereof, spaced-apart water-indicating and/or moisture-indicating sensors (15) which are introduced through the uppermost roofing skin (4) in a sealed manner into the insulating layer (3), located beneath, and, if appropriate, stand on a water-channelling layer (2) located further beneath. When the sensors respond or are checked, defects can be easily recognised and isolated. In a further embodiment, the sensors are interrogated and the results are displayed on a central display panel by indicator lamps. It has proved particularly expedient to provide a measuring housing (5) which is seated in a sealed manner on the uppermost roofing skin (4) and can be closed off in a water-tight and air-tight manner by a cover (8) and in which sensors (15, 31) and, if appropriate, a vacuum pump can be introduced. |
