PURPOSE:To provide a method for imparting information to cloth according to an ink jet process, by using ink capable of being made colorless prepared by together using type ink erased by heating or with elapse of time and a fluorescent brightener made visible by ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION:Ink containing a color former, a volatile or sublimable coupler and a fluorescent brightener as ink component is used to impart information according to an ink jet method. The coupler must be volatile or sublimable. That is, a substance gradually volatilizing or subliming at ambient temp. - temp. of about 160 deg.C is used. By compounding the fluorescent brightener and detecting the light emission of the fluorescent brightener under ultraviolet rays in dark color cloth or detecting the light emission under visible light in light colored cloth or fluorescent whitening cloth, clothes from dark color one to light colored or white one can be detected by one kind of ink. |
