PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour and time required when the address of a terminal equipment is reset, by providing physical addresses peculiar to each terminal equipment and logical addresses set by a controller and selectively using one of these addresses. CONSTITUTION:A logical ID number signal is transmitted from a controller 1 by using the physical ID number signal of a terminal equipment 4 as an address. Upon receiving the logical ID number signal, said terminal equipment 4 stores the received signal in a memory as a logical address and, simultaneously, transmits an ACK signal indicating that normal reception is performed to the controller 1. After receiving the ACK signal the controller 1 stores the physical ID number signal and logical ID number signal in a memory device composed of a memory, disk, etc., as physical address and logical address, respectively. Therefore, the correspondence between the controller 1 and terminal equipment 4 is set in two kinds of addresses, physical address and logical address. |
