Christmas-tree stand

To be able to erect and correctly align christmas trees without particular physical effort, the christmas-tree stand is constructed in such a way that a sleeve, the closed end of which is designed as a hollow ball, can be freely moved in a ball joint of the foot. The sleeve is connected to the tree by a clamping screw independently of the foot of the tree stand. A resilient rocker achieves the necessary clamping action between foot and sleeve.
