PURPOSE:To relatively quickly transmit picture information which is practically equal to the picture of an original, by continuously transmitting one unit of image data in one block without adding any redundant information. CONSTITUTION:Command 1 is sent from a terminal equipment to an information filing device main body and, in response to the Command 1, an acknowledge command ACK is sent from the filing device main body to the terminal equipment. Then Command 2 is sent from the terminal equipment and the acknowledge command ACK is similarly sent from the information filing device main body to the terminal equipment. In response to the Command 2, response 1 is sent to the terminal equipment and the terminal equipment sends an acknowledge command ACK to the information filing device main body. When the above-mentioned operations are made, an instruction to transmit image data from the information filing device main body to the terminal equipment is completed and all image data can continuously be sent in one block without adding any redundant information, such as error correcting signal, etc.
