PURPOSE:To provide a ventilation device having a stable ventilating function by a method wherein a second blower composed of a transverse flow fan is arranged in front of a first blower attached in a fixing hole which faces toward an indoor side. CONSTITUTION:This device is composed of a first blower 3 fixed with its suction port 2 being directed toward an indoor side in respect to a fixing hole and a second blower 5 supported by two parallel supporting arms 4. The second blower 5 is composed of a transverse flow fan to suck indoor air through a suction port 2A and discharge it through a discharging port 6A. The injected air flow may form a kind of air curtain in its horizontal direction. In order to form the air curtain, the contaminated air is prevented from being ascended upwardly like oil smoke and so the contaminated air can be induced and fed into the first blower 3.
