PURPOSE:To facilitate the arrangement and fixation of a sole plate quickly forming the sole plate which removably secures a steam turbine equipped with both a front bearing box and a casing, integrally into a form which envelopes the contour of the steam turbine ground section. CONSTITUTION:A sole plate 13 which is used to be made in a block construction, is formed into a completely integral structure, on which fixed points 10 and 11 are provided, besides, the section on which a front bearing box 3 and the leg 6 of a low pressure casing 1 are placed is machined into a smooth surface. In addition, a sole plate 13' on which a MSV is installed is also integrally built in. The sole plate 13 is leveled by placing level adjusters 19 at appropriate intervals for a setting work on a T-G frame 7. On the other hand, when the sole plate 13 is used for transporting a steam turbine, an integral sole plate 13 which can cover the ground section of the steam turbine is constructed for providing a transport table 14 which can clear the height of the low pressure casing 1.
