PURPOSE:To expand the liniearity of a logarithmic amplifier over a wide range by changing the reference input of the logarithmetic amplifier in accordance with an input value. CONSTITUTION:The output voltage V0 of an output terminal is detected and fed back to the input terminal of a reference voltage generating part 4. The generating part 4 is controlled by the output voltage V0 and a reference input voltage Vr1' corresponding to the voltage V0 is generated and inputted to the reference input terminal of the logarithmic amplifier 3 to control the amplification factor. |
