An apparatus (10) for heating and dispensing a plurality of liquids comprises a housing (18) incorporating a plurality of independent liquid heating and despensing units (12, 14 and 16). Suitably, one hot water unit (14) and two coffee/tea making units (12 and 16) are provided. The containers in which tea or coffee is stored after it has been brewed may be removed from the apparatus to dispense the contents at a remote location, with the brewing and heating portions of these units remaining in situ with the rest of the apparatus. The liquid containers are insulated with the valves of the liquid dispensing taps being disposed within the container walls to minimize heat loss. The inlets to the containers storing the hot liquid are provided with steam traps to prevent steam loss. <IMAGE> |
