WELDING DEVICE OF FUEL ADAPTER FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To simplify a welding operation, device and jig by simultaneously assembling and welding a fuel adapter to the inside of a side panel in the stage of setting the side panel to the jig in such a manner that the outside surface thereof faces the jig. CONSTITUTION:The side panel W1 is set to the jig 1 in such a manner that the outside surface thereof faces the jig 1. A back bar 4 on a holder provided to the jig 1 is inserted into an aperture for mounting the fuel adapter from the outside surface side of the side panel W1. The fuel adapter W2 is set to the insertion part of the back bar 4, then the superposed parts of the aperture edge of the panel W1 and the adapter W2 are welded by the operation of a robot 2. The fuel adapter W2 is efficiently welded to the side panel W1 by the device constituted in the above-mentioned manner.
