PURPOSE:To omit double painting to the inside and outside surfaces and the cutting plane, and to save the man-hour and expenses, by forming, a case by setting a plating surface of a metallic plate in which plating has been performed to only face, to the inside and performing a rust preventive treatment to the outside surface and the cutting plane of a base material. CONSTITUTION:A box-shaped case is formed by cutting an iron plate in which a plating film by galvanization, etc., has been formed on only one face, to a prescribed size, and forming it to a prescribed shape by a drawing machine. In this case, drawing is executed so that the inside surface of the case becomes a plating film surface. Subsequently, painting of a rust preventive paint is executed by an electrostatic painting machine. In this case, an electric line of force is concentrated into a part appearing on the outside surface of the case, therefore, the electric line of force is concentrated to the outside surface of the case and the cutting plane of a base material, and a paint stickes uniformly to this part. Accordingly, as for the case 1, painting of the rust preventive paint is executed uniformly to the outside surface and the cutting plane.
