PURPOSE:To make an effective electrode interface area unchangeable for an extremely long time by forming the electrode with porous copper based alloy sintered body which have such a structure that fine hard particles are dispersed and included uniformly in raw material. CONSTITUTION:In a porous copper based alloy sintered body which have such a structure that hard particles consisting of one kind or two kinds and more among oxides of Al, Cr, Zr and Ti are dispersed and included at the ratio of 0.1-20wt% in raw material of Cu or Cu alloy, excellent acid-proof and corrosion-proof properties as well as high conductivity and thermal conductivity under fuel cell operating conditions are secured by Cu or Cu alloy, and further superior high temperature strength and suppress action of sintering progress are provided by the hard particles dispersed and included in raw material under the same fuel cell operating conditions. Consequently, as the creep deformation and sintering deformation under fuel cell operation are remarkably suppressed by using this material as the electrode of fused- carbonate type fuel, cell, superior electrode performance is presented for an extremely long time. |
