PURPOSE:To maintain the feature of power saving with a simple operation by making the opening/closing of a switch connected in parallel with a subswitch for opening/closing a power supply in a circuit group interlock with the opening/closing of the power supply switch of a back line device. CONSTITUTION:A switch 17A is connected in parallel with the subswitch 15 for opening/closing the power supply to circuit groups 4, 5, 7-10 and opened/ closed by interlocking with a switch 17B for supplying power to a back line device 18. If the switch 17B is turned on when a main power supply switch 13 of a portable TV receiver is ON, the switch 17A is closed and the switch 15 is opened, but the TV video can be observed. To listen only sound without a video, the switch 15 is opened only by turning off the switch 17B, so that power supply to a circuit group for displaying video simultaneously with the generation of sound is stopped and the effect of power saving can be maintained. |
