[Also in Division F1] In a diaphragm drive comprising a spring- loaded diaphragm 1 subjected to pressure medium via connection 21, the diaphragm is of elastic material, e.g. rubber with a fabric insert, and comprises, adjacent the inner and outer peripheries, inclined transition portions which are non-deformable and extend towards the same side of the diaphragm, and one transition portion is followed by an arcuate portion with identical entry and exit angles, e.g. 45 degrees, the diaphragm continuing therefrom in conical form to merge into the other transition portion. Diaphragm supporting surfaces 18 and 19 are provided. |
