ROTARY HEAD TYPE MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To contrive to attain light weight and small size of an entire device by using a positioning means such as a guide slot provided to a rotary head cylinder so as to guide and position a tape loading mobile member to which a tape guide means is implanted. CONSTITUTION:A guide roller and a tilted pin 9 are implanted to a slider 11 being a tape loading mobile member and the slider 11 is slidable in the same direction via a gear array 13 on a slider base 4. In loading a cassette to a cassette holder from the unloading state, the guide roller 8 and the tilted pin 9 are inserted from the lower aperture of the cassette into the cassette and a magnetic tape is to be drawn out. In pushing further the cassette holder from the state, the slide base 4 is progressed and the forwarding motion is delivered to the slider 11 via the gear array 13 with magnification and the magnetic tape is extended around a cylinder by the guide roller 8 and the titled pin 9 attended with the forwarding of the slider 11.
