<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate electric danger during operation which is performed while a fixing device is drawn out by disabling a front door provided to a main device body from being closed except when the fixing device is at a copying ready position. CONSTITUTION:A stopper member 41 is provided at the inside left corner part of the front door 40. When the fixing device 7 is in a copying ready state, a manual lever 23 is at a lower lateral position attitude and never abuts on a stopper member 41, and the front door 40 is closed. While the front door 40 is opened and the manual lever 23 is lifted to draw the fixing device 7 out sidewise, the stopper member 41 abuts on the manual lever 23 and the front door 40 cannot be closed. Thus, the front door cannot be closed, and the power source is always held in OFF stale during jam processing.</p> |
