PURPOSE:To enable antiskid control to be carried out for all of four wheels with a simple construction by incorporating first and second oil pressure proportional control devices in parallel piping system, and using a pair of wheel speed sensors and a 2-channel oil pressure control system. CONSTITUTION:When a brake pedal 1 is stepped, hydraulic pressure is put on oil pressure control devices 3, 4 from a 2-system type master cylinder 2, and depressurized hydraulic pressure is put on wheel cylinders 9, 10 through P valves 5, 6. Now, when a slip rate of the left front wheel 'LF' exceeds the predetermined value, a controller 17 so controls the oil pressure control device 3 that hydraulic pressure of the left front wheel 'LF' comes to the best value. On the other hand, hydraulic pressure acting on the wheel cylinder of left rear wheel 'LR' is also controlled to be depressurized. Similarly, when the antiskid control is carried out to the right front wheel 'RF', said antiskid control is carried out to the right rear wheel 'RR', too. In this way, it is possible to carry out the antiskid control to all wheels with a simple construction.
