PURPOSE:To perform the punching of good accuracy by enabling the micro movement of the body to be worked which is pressed between a pressing part and die and by giving the resiliency against the punch descending power to an ejector temporarily. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral part of the body to be worked is pressed in the space with a die 10 by a pressing part 3 by descending the upper die 2 by placing the body 5 to be worked on the die 10. The projecting part 7 of a punch 4 is abutted to the body 5 to be worked by the descent of the punch 4 to deform the outer peripheral part 14 by pulling it to the inner part somewhat and simultaneously a driving mechanism 12 presses an ejector 11 to the upper part. The punch 4 descends since the descending power of the punch 4 is larger than the pressing force of the driving mechanism, the driving mechanism repulses temporarily and the projection forming is performed by a projection die 7 and recessed die 13 of the ejector 11. The body 5 to be worked deformed slightly is pressed between the lower face excluding the projection die 7 and the upper face excluding the recessed die 13 and the deformation is straightened as well as the outer peripheral face 14 is slightly moved to the outer part. With further descent of the punch 4 the body 5 to be worked is punched inside a pierced hole 9.
