摘要 PURPOSE:To increase torque transmission ratio, when a vehicle is reaccelerated, and to improve its acceleration response characteristic, by correcting a shift-down region of speed change ratio to be spread from that in normal operation time, with a target input speed changing its setting, and increasing the speed change ratio early to a large value so as to increase an engine brake effect, when the vehicle is decelerated. CONSTITUTION:A deceleration time detecting means 110 detects deceleration of a vehicle due to an accelerator opening rapid control and a brake control to be input to a target value correcting means 111. And the means 111, which corrects a target value of an input speed to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) mechanism 50 to an increase side by a predetermined value from the essential value corresponding to an accelerator opening, corrects a shift-down region of speed change ratio to be spread from that in normal time. Consequently, the input speed of the CVT mechanism 50 decreases early exceeding the target value, after it is corrected, and being trans ferred to the shift-down region of the speed change ratio. In this way, the vehicle, when it is decelerated, can increase an engine brake effect, thereafter the vehicle, when it is reaccelerated, increases torque transmission ratio enabling an acceleration response characteristic to be well held.
