<p>PURPOSE:To prevent previously a rear-end collision accident by constituting a circuit in such a way that rear brake lights are lit in correspondence to the OFF-state of a detecting switch in an ON/OFF operation of an accelerator pedal, so that the control operation of a preceding automobile can be quickly notified to the driver of a following automobile. CONSTITUTION:It is so arranged that when an accelerator pedal 4 is treaded down, the movable contact 3a of a switch 3 is disconnected from a fixed contact 3b, and when the accelerator pedal 4 is not operated, the movable contact 3a of the switch 3 is brought into contact with the fixed contact 3b to be closed. Accordingly, brake lamps are lit at the some time as a foot is removed from the accelerator pedal 4, and from this point of time engine brake starts to work. consequently, comparing with the case where the brake lamps are lit from the point of time when the brake pedal is treated down, the driver of a following automobile can quickly notice the braking of a preceding automobile, and the accidents such as a rear-end collision or the like can be previousuly prevented.</p> |
