PURPOSE:To rapidly treat the color image, without injuring a high sensitivity and a high image quality of the color image by image-wisely exposing multilayer silver halide color photographic sensitive materials having a layer contg. a plane line silver halide emulsion having more than a specific mean aspect ratio, and then, by effecting a color development it followed by bleaching it in the presence of the compd. having an effect of accelerating the bleaching. CONSTITUTION:The titled method lies in image-wisely exposing the multilayer silver halide color photographic sensitive materials having at least one layer of the plane like silver halide emulsion layers having the mean aspect ratio of >=(5:1), more preferably, (8:1)-(20:1), and then, in effecting the color development of the obtd. material, followed by bleaching it in the presence of the compd. having the effect of accelerating the bleaching. The plane like particle contd. in the layer contg. the plane like silver halide emulsion and having the aspect ratio of >=(5:1) is >=40wt%, more preferably >=60wt% on the weight basis of the total silver halide particle contd. in the prescribed layer. The representative and concrete example of the bleaching accelerator is the compd. shown by formula 1. |
