PURPOSE:To eliminate an irregularity in illuminance by providing a part where the sectional shape of an optical fiber incidence end part in a center-axis direction is arrayed approaching from the incidence end surface to a projection end surface up to a distant position and then bundling fiber projection end parts. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted by a halogen lamp 6 is reflected by a mirror 7 and converged to strike on the incidence end surface 2 of a light guide 1. At this time, the lamp 6 itself is shaded by the mirror 7, a center member 3 is positioned nearby the center axis of an incidence end part 8 where reflected light having a large angle of incidence is incident, and no optical fibers are arranged, so not light from the mirror 7 which have a large angle of incidence, but only light with a relatively small angle of incidence is incident on the incidence surface 2. Light which is reflected and converged by the mirror 7 and incident on the incidence end surface 2 has some angle to the axis of the incidence end part 8 of a light guide 1, but the axes of respective fibers at the incidence end part 8 have angles to the axis of the incidence end part 8, so the light is incident on the incidence end surface 2 almost in parallel to the axes of the optical fibers. |
