PURPOSE:To omit polling from a home controller and to decrease the traffic on a power line by adding the function to send a signal to inform of this onto the power line when an adapter is detached to a socket. CONSTITUTION:When an adapter is fixed to a socket and a socket detaching detecting device 16 is turned on, a processing part 17 detects this, codes the condition, sends onto a power line 3 and informs a home controller. A home controller 1 can receive the signal and know that an adapter 2 is fixed to the socket. Continuously, the processing 17 starts the receiving processing, when the control signal to a self address exists on the power line 3, receives this and outputs the control output in accordance with the contents of the signal to an output 14 for load control. Next, the control condition of a load is read from the output 14 for the load control, the information is coded by the processing part 17 and sent through a MODEM 12 for modulating the high frequency onto the power line 3.
