PURPOSE:To obtain an adhesive which has an open time with a low temperature dependence and excellent adhesiveness, by using a specified copolymer and a surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer is obtained by the copolymerization of 99.8-85wt% vinyl acetate with 0.2-5wt% branched aliphatic acid ester (e.g., vinyl versatate) and 1-10wt% hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate [e.g., 2-hydroxymethyl (meth) acrylate]. 30-70wt% mixture comprising 100pts.wt. copolymer obtained and 0.05-10pts.wt. surface active agent (e.g., polyoxyethylene mono- or dilaurate) is dissolved in an organic solvent (e.g., ethyl acetate).
