PURPOSE:To subject a Ti alloy, which is formed by incorporating prescribed ratios of Ti and binder to a noble metal produced by melt refining, to color formation to an optional color by treating the surface of the above-mentioned Ti alloy with the 1st cleaning device, color forming treatment device and 2nd cleaning device. CONSTITUTION:The prescribed ratios of the Ti 4 and binder 5 are compounded with the noble metal material 3 to form a raw material 7 and said material is subjected to a melt refining stage 8 to form the base material 2 for the Ti alloy in a stage 1 for forming the base material for the Ti alloy. The base material 2 is formed to a prescribed shape by a softening stage 10, forging stage 11 and forming stage 12 in a working stage 9. The material is then subjected to surface roughening stage 18 and is cleaned by the 1st cleaning stage 19. After the material is subjected to the color formation in a color forming treatment stage 16, the material is cleaned in the 2nd cleaning stage 17.
