PURPOSE:To provide the titled foam which hardly causes yellowing and is suitable for use as a packing for cosmetics and health drinks, by molding and expanding a polyolefin resin compsn. consisting of a polyolefin resin, a titanium compd. and ultramarine. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyolefin resin (A) (e.g., PE) is blended with 0.1-10 pts.wt. titanium compd. (B) (e.g., TiO2) and 0.001-5pts.wt. ultramarine (C). If desired, a lubricant, an ultraviolet absorber, a colorant, an antistatic agent, a flame retarder, etc., are added thereto to obtain a polyolefin resin compsn. The compsn. is mixed with a heat-decomposable blowing agent (e.g., azodicarbonamide) and optionally, a crosslinking agent capable of generating a redical by heating. The mixture is molded and crosslinked to such an extent that the product has a gel fraction of 15-45%. The product is heated in a hot air atmosphere or on a salt bath to expand it.
