PURPOSE:To eliminate a boring from a home controller and to decrease a traffic on a power line by adding a function to send a lock releasing signal onto the power line when the attaching and detaching locking mechanism of an adapter is released. CONSTITUTION:The attaching and detaching locking mechanism is provided at a power source plug 4 inserted into a socket, the erroneous attaching and detaching are prevented and to the mechanism part releasing the attaching and detaching locking mechanism, a socket attaching and detaching detecting function is added. When an adapter attaching and detaching locking mechanism button 18 is operated, an adapter attaching and detaching detecting device 16 to interlock to this is turned on. Then, a processing part detects that a switch is turned on, codes this, sends it onto an electric power line 3 and informs a home controller. The home controller receives the signal and can know the attaching and detaching of an adapter 2.
