摘要 PURPOSE:To recognize a running obstacle during running by lighting a light emitter when an obstacle detector on the ground side detects the running obstacle and detecting this light by an optical reflex phototube installed on a carriage to decelerate and stop the carriage. CONSTITUTION:An optical reflex phototube 11 is attached to the front of an automatic carriage body 10. The reflected light from a running obstacle 12 like a person existing in the detection range of the optical reflex phototube 11 is detected by the phototube 11, and a running controller 13 recognizes the existence of the running obstacle, and a wheel driving part 14 controls the number of rotation of driving wheels 15 to decelerate or stop the carriage. Meanwhile, a detector 17 is provided on the obstacle side for a running obstacle 16 existing on the outside of the detection range of the optical reflex phototube 11, for example, a drawer type operation board or the like of a peripheral device of a running path. The detection result of this detector 17 is transmitted to a light emitter 18, and this light is detected by the optical reflex phototube 11 to decelerate and stop the carriage for the running obstacle existing on the outside of the detection range similarly to the running obstacle existing in the detection range. Thus, the presence/absence of running obstacles is recognized even during running to enhance safety.
