PURPOSE:To only guess accurate body temperature by deciding whether or not a change of the detected temperature is the change of body temperature measurement and guessing the convergent temperature only when a prescribed state is changed. CONSTITUTION:The convergent temperature is guessed from the detected temperature detected by a temperature sensor 12 and the guesses value is indicated. A signal of the body temperature detected by the sensor 12 is A/D converted 13 and inputted to a CPU 14. The CPU 14 takes in the detected signal for every prescribed sampling timing and outputs it to a memory 15 and stores it therein and on the other hand, the CPU 14 also outputs the signal to a display device 16 and displays the detected temperature. Further, the CPU 14 is constituted of a decision means as to whether the body temperature is measured and is a guess means of the convergent temperature or not. The decision means decides whether or not the change of the detected temperature with respect to time is the change of the body temperature measurement. In other words, a parameter is calculated by analyzing a response curve of the detected temperature change and it is decided by whether or not the parameter is in a preset range.
