PURPOSE:To produce a valve very simple, by inserting a valve unit preliminarily assembled into a valve case, and fixing the valve unit. CONSTITUTION:A valve unit B is inserted into a case 1 until a stop ring 6 on one side of the valve unit abuts to be stopped by a positioning projection 3 formed in the case. Then, the outer wall of the case 1 is inwardly depressed at a position outside another stop ring 6 on the opposite side of the inserted end of the valve unit to thereby form a stop projection 9 on the inner surface of the case 1. Thus, the valve unit B is immovably fixed at a predetermined position in the case 1. Then, a valve operating member for opening and closing the valve is installed through a hole 2 to the valve unit B. Thereafter, a bolt 7 and a nut 8 are demounted to be removed from the case 1.
