PURPOSE:To easily manage system identification information by executing the initial program load only when system identification information coincides with a held copy and writing the contents of the copy in a non-volatile storage means when they do not coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:The presenter of a system sets contents peculiar to this system to system identification information 10 and ships it to a user: and in the system of the user, the contents read from system identification information 10 are written in the prescribed copy storage area 11 of a memory device 4 in the stage of the system generation processing and are held there. A check program 12 reads out system identification information 10 and the copy storage area 11 and compares the contents of system identification information 10 with the copy and starts IPL in case of coincidence. If they do not coincide with each other, an error message addressed to a system maintenance man or the like is outputted to request the instruction of the processing for dissidence. Thus, the system identification information is managed easily. |
