USE:A photochromic material for printing, photochromic material for optical element, photochromic material for recording material and photochromic mate rial for clothes and ornaments. PREPARATION:A 2-methyleneindoline compound (e.g., 1-benzyl-3,3-dimethyl-2- methyleneindoline, etc.,) shown by formula II is reacted with a 10-nitroso-9- phenanthrol compound shown by formula III. |
