发明名称 METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
摘要 PURPOSE:To make the operating timing of a frictional engaging element proper by setting the output signal from an electronic controlling device for one hydraulic servo mechanism among plural frictional engaging elements, later by a defined time than an output signal to another. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission 1 engages or releases clutches, etc. which are frictional engaging elements, by means of a hydraulic servo mechanism to carry out shifting between each of transmission stages. A transmission oil pressure controlling device 32 which carries out the control of said shifting is controlled by solenoids No.1-No.3 which are ON-OFF controlled by a computer 33. Since the quantity of remaining oil which is mixed into the hydraulic servo mechanism is different between when idling under released condition and when stopping, it takes longer time for a clutch to be engaged after through idling than without through idling. Accordingly, an output signal from an electronic control device to a servo mechanism is slightly delayed when the clutch is engaged without through idling to make the engaging timing proper.
